THE GRENADIER PAINT COLOURS. EACH ONE WITH A SPECIFIC BACK STORY
01 August 2025
Every Grenadier colour is inspired by the world it was built to explore. But we didn't design fancy hues to catch showroom lights. We chose them because they tell their own unique story. Because on a Grenadier, even the paint has a job to do.
Scottish White
Inspired by the famously pale legs of Sir Jim Ratcliffe's friends as they stood out in the chill, this colour is our straight-talking white. Brilliantly bright, and as honest as they come. Sunscreen not included.
Eldoret Blue
We named this colour after the Kenyan highland town known for producing elite endurance athletes. That includes INEOS ambassador Eliud Kipchoge - The first person to run a marathon under two hours.
Magic Mushroom
Once tinged with a touch of pink, Magic Mushroom now brings in more steely grey tones. Named after the Psilocybe semilanceata mushroom, we definitely didn't name it in a boardroom. For those who tread just off-centre. Or off-road.
Britannia Blue
Regal yet rugged, deep and bold. We named this colour after the INEOS Britannia sailing team. It's a colour that commands respect. Think naval strength and quiet authority. No salute necessary, although not discouraged. Seen in this image as the colour of choice for our charity partner, the RNLI.
Sela Green
Sela Green is named after the Sela River in Iceland. It's part of the INEOS Six Rivers Project - a drive to restore and protect the natural habitats of wild salmon. Wear this deep green as a bushcraft badge of honour. Or camouflage in and outside of the city.
Inky Black
Every palette should have a solid black - This is ours. It's the colour of engine grease and understatement. A favourite of those who mean business. Or mean not to be seen.
“The Grenadier is built on purpose … Function over form. If it hasn't got a function, it shouldn't be part of the form.”
Shale Blue
Inspired by sedimentary formations under pressure, Shale Blue reflects the Grenadier's engineered strength, and geological durability. A colour for explorers who think in strata. And those who leave the road behind. Seen here being driven by Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One driver, Kimi Antonelli.

Donny Grey
There's a lot to like about Doncaster. Sadly, the weather isn't one of them. Hometown of INEOS co-founder Andy Currie - Donny Grey has a brownish undertone. It's gritty, grounded and full of substance, just like the town that gives it its name.
Queen's Red
A nod to British regimental reds and the Queen's fleet of royal vehicles, this hue carries a sense of ceremony. Its also the colour of courage. Wear it like a medal. Or a warning. Not for shrinking violets, only for those who revel in standing out.
Sterling Silver
A very British silver. No polishing required. Unless you really want to. There's a coolness to it - Calm, collected, and never trying too hard. This isn't the blinding chrome of boy racers. Rather the understated gleam of something engineered well and built to last.
WHICHEVER YOU CHOOSE, CHOOSE WELL
Pick the one that says something about you, even if what it says is “I couldn’t care less what it says.” But just know this: whatever colour you choose, it won’t stay that way for long. Because if you’re driving your Grenadier the way it’s meant to be driven, it’ll be covered in one shade more than any other.
Mud.Fortunately, it suits them all.
