Your Career: As the FP&A Analyst of INEOS Automotive you will work within a scale-up and fast-moving environment. You will be surrounded by a team of experts in their field and be given the autonomy and freedom to develop the role as we grow.

The Role: The FP&A Analyst will support with the preparation of short, medium, and long-term financial plans and with the assessment and communication of financial results. Under the management of the FP&A Manager the jobholder will have a hands-on role, covering the following areas: profit analysis, management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and data gathering in support of business case development. They will provide cross-functional support throughout the organisation including interaction with senior managers.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Run the defined process for the preparation and analysis of the rolling monthly consolidated financial forecast and annual business plan, working closely with all departments and the Finance Business Partnering team to collate inputs
  • Analyse variances in actual results to forecast/budget and report findings
  • Maintain the Headcount model to ensure accurate forecasting of manpower costs
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Help the FP&A Manager with the preparation of business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions including support with the gathering of key inputs, either directly or via the business partnering team, and with the update of existing models
  • Produce regular financial reports and KPIs as specified by the FP&A Manager; identify opportunities for improvements to existing reports
  • Analyse financial and operational results and discuss findings with the FP&A Manager

For the FP&A Analyst, we are looking for:

  • Part qualified accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Industry experience
  • Some previous planning and reporting, operations analysis, and budget and forecasting experience (including advanced Excel skills)
  • Good knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and core financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement)
  • A well-developed critical analysis and information seeking ability
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
