The Rhino Orphanage
A PARTNER IN PREVENTION
In South Africa, wildlife rescue is critical to preventing the extinction of endangered species, including rhinos. Based in the Limpopo Province, the Rhino Orphanage cares for orphaned and injured calves so, when ready, they can be returned to the wild. We’ve been supporting The Rhino Orphanage since mid-2022, and for every contrast chassis ordered in ‘Rhino Grey’, we donate to the orphanage.
The Rhisotope Project
The Rhino Orphanage have dedicated years to fighting for the survival of rhinos. Now, they are working with The Rhisotope Project as a research partner, testing insertion of low doses of radioisotopes into 20 live black and white rhinos. Watch the full video below.
A radioactive lifeline
By devaluing the rhino horn, this non-lethal, yet innovative solution aims to dramatically reduce the demand for the ivory of these precious animals. It also makes detecting radioactive-treated horns at international borders easier. By targeting smugglers and making it harder for them to profit from this cruelty, the Rhisotope Project is a lifeline to protect these rhinos from poaching syndicates and the threat of extinction.

Follow the story of Benji the rhino calf as he was carefully transported to his new habitat with the Rhino Orphanage, safely nestled in the back of a Grenadier.
“We are incredibly proud that INEOS decided that when you buy a vehicle from them, you can decide on the colour of the chassis, and if you pick the Rhino Grey colour, INEOS will donate to the Rhino Orphanage. For us its a story from heaven, its wonderful. We are really excited for the new future of the Rhino Orphanage alongside a magnificent company like INEOS, and with an incredible vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier.”
