The progressive coil suspension ensures good performance and a comfortable ride both on and off-road.  With our setup we always knew we would achieve excellent off-road performance, but the engineers have been struck by how good the ride is on-road as well.

One product doesn’t make a car company and we have announced a second vehicle line - a smaller fully-electric 4X4. At Hambach, we have the facilities, workforce and capacity to support this growth. It’s too early to confirm any details or timings around this. What we can confirm is we’ll be building a double cab pick-up [ute or bakkie], that has a slightly longer wheelbase than the Utility Wagon / Station Wagon.

The current plan is for the pick-up to launch in the second half of 2023.

It’s too early to give firm timelines, but it’s likely to be in the second half of the decade. INEOS continues to back hydrogen fuel cells as the clean powertrain solution for future versions of the Grenadier. A fuel cell technology demonstrator is due to begin on- and off-road testing by Q2 2023.

We'll announce service pricing for each country closer to when the Grenadier goes on sale. We plan to offer service pack products in most of the countries where the Grenadier's sold.

You can make tweaks right up until you sign your vehicle contract, but it may have an impact on your production slot. The factory doesn’t want us changing engines, gearboxes, interior trims but you can change your paint colour or chosen accessories, for example. Our customer service centre or your local retailer is on hand to help get it sorted.

If you would like to change to a different retailer please speak to a member of our Customer Service team who will be happy to help.

Yes absolutely, you can use our online configurator to spec your vehicle and complete the check out process to place your order and secure your build month.

One our website, you can find an interactive map showing the nearest retailers. Contact details will be available for those retailers that are up and running.

We will contact you around 60 days before the start of your Grenadier’s build to request an eSignature of your vehicle contract.

We’ll give you the estimated build slot month once you’ve placed your order and an estimated delivery date when we ask you to sign your contract. The precise lead time depends on demand and the specification of your vehicle.

That is completely understandable. If you wish to test drive the vehicle beforehand you can defer your order placement until after, however, this will mean a later delivery. We aim to have test drive opportunities starting this year and will prioritise customers who already have an order. Test drives will be arranged by your local retailer.

Grenadier series production began in September, ramping up to full production of customer vehicles in the following months. Customer deliveries will start soon after.

Yes, we are offering finance offered directly and through our retailers who can help you find the best finance option to suit your needs. The process can be completed and signed online if you prefer.

Global supply chain disruption has delayed the start of Grenadier production to September, with a slower than planned ramp up to full production.

The delay affects only the first allocation of build slots:

  • If your original build slot is between September and November, it will be pushed back by one month.
  • If your original build slot is from December 2022 onwards, it will not be impacted.

Your delivery date will be communicated in your contract.

If you have an original September or October build slot, you can no longer change your configuration as this information has been fed into the production schedule. If you have a later build slot, we will be in touch to provide further information about your final configuration deadline in the coming weeks.

No, the allocation and production order will remain identical to our original plans. The delay in the ramping up of production is not impacting our approach to market allocation.
