  • OVERVIEW OF ROLE
    • The Logistics Manager will set up the Supply Chain for the designated INEOS manufacturing location including; internal material flow from external logistic providers to the point of use in manufacturing. The job holder will manage all activities to ensure that the supply of materials is delivered to the point of use in manufacturing, including external INEOS locations, ensuring minimum stock levels within the supply chain.  
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Plan, develop, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers.
    • Ensure an efficient material flow from logistic service provider to the point of use in manufacturing. 
    • Understand and manage risks to minimise impact on production schedule.
    • Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.
    • Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement.
    • Utilise any IT system that is in place and ensure that data is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as required.
    • Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs.
    • Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels.
    • Create regular statistical reports and analysis and update others in the organisation.
    • Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organisation to improve operational and financial performance.
    • Deliver solutions to logistics issues while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.
    • Help selecting logistic service providers and monitor service against performance criteria.
    • Help to ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
    • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues.
    • Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with the help of direct reports.
    • Interpret trends and analyse and review data. Provide meaningful logistics data to others in the organisation to aid customer service and cost improvements.
    • Ensure IT systems in place are effective, maintained and accurate.
    • Ensure metrics, reports, and process documentation is available.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all parties connected with the logistics process.
    • Take control of packaging and provide appropriate, cost effective, high quality solutions.
    • Take responsibility for accuracy of labelling to ensure correct parts/finished assemblies reach correct customers at the correct time.
    • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations/customs regulations and legal and health and safety requirements.
    DESIRED EXPERIENCE
    • Experience in Automotive Logistics.
    • Prior experience of working in logistics/supply chain/transportation function within the automotive or manufacturing environment with a comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes and procedures.
    • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
    • Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts the costs, production, manufacture and customer order fulfilment.
    • Expert knowledge of technical regulations related to logistics such as import/export and customs regulations, including security requirements to include certification in dangerous goods handling and aviation security.
    • High degree of knowledge and understanding of a variety of manufacturing and automotive processes and components and of supply chain management.

    • Lead the HR Function in the UK Manufacturing facility to provide high quality and cost-effective services to all businesses to ensure consistent, motivational and legally compliant solutions are delivered, thus enabling businesses to leverage the best from its people.
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Develop and implement an HR strategy for UK manufacturing that provides alignment across all businesses while enabling business flexibility where appropriate.

    • Support and complement the activity of the Site Operations Manager by providing functional expertise.

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE
    • Seasoned HR professional (7yrs+), degree or relevant qualification. 
    • Deep expertise in all HR generalist areas, (e.g. recruitment/ exit management/ performance management/succession planning/ salary management etc.)  and knowledge of several specialist areas such as employment law, compensation and benefits, resourcing, employee relations.
    • Working knowledge of payroll systems and process, and good practice in developing, implementing and improvement in all HR transactional activities.
    • Excellent coaching, facilitation and communication skills at all levels – ability to influence effectively.
    • Ability to understand the business issues within the specific sector.
    • The ability to make sound judgements and wise decisions based on evaluating data and deciding on a course of action.

    • To support the creative development and global implementation of the brand visual identity along with its supporting enabler tools, which will include colour and trim.

    • The Recruiter will provide and own generalist support for the end to end recruitment process, working with agencies as required and managing the process through to final sign off and contract issue. 
    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    OVERVIEW:
    • The Development Engineers will be responsible for vehicle planning and monitoring, including leading the programme for the test coordination and tracking as well as developing features from idea to vehicle application.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • This role requires the close collaboration with all cross-functional teams with members from vehicle integration, homologation and project quality to develop successful vehicle usage assessments.
    • Coordinate, monitor and track vehicle transport from build-up location to test track and their usage after testing. Objective is to have a detailed plan of validation tests, which includes efficient and effective vehicle usages.
    • Implement and plan prototype and pre-series vehicle testing and monitoring of their build-up, including parts delivery dates and full vehicle coordination. As well as ensuring vehicle and part availability for testing/homologation requirements.
    • Deliver and align vehicle validation concept and priories for all the different tests. Monitor and maintain technical log and reports of test contents and tracking and joining of vehicle tests.
    • Create, implement, review and confirm test results of validation together with appropriate teams and suppliers.
    • Plan, prioritise and monitor different crash tests, as well as their technical matching to meet legal requirements.
    • Support and represent on Lead Engineering Passive Safety, as required.

    Monitor, track and ensure all documentation for validation and crash results, as well as documentation which will bring the part through to approval in line with legislative and compliance requirements. In accordance with compliance, requirements set up by Ineos Quality Manager, regulations and directives.

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
    • The incumbent must have a technical undergraduate degree in automotive engineering, other engineering or related sciences.
    • A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience gained at either a Tier 1 automotive supplier or automotive OEM, have been involved in design and engineering process, from concept to industrialisation.
    • Ability to communicate at all levels. High level technical communications with suppliers, partners, etc.
    • Experience with legal and governmental requirements as well as to maintain documentation standards according to these requirements.
    • Strong automotive knowledge gained during career with experience of a number of validation concepts and launch of vehicles.

    • The Project Engineer for Doors and Closures will be responsible for supporting the design, release and launch of the scopes.
    • Working on all aspects of Body Panels and Closures delivery on our future vehicle and reporting to the Chief Engineer – Doors and Closures.

    OVERVIEW:
    • The Project Engineer – Electrical Systems and Electronics will be responsible for supporting the design, release and launch of the E/E architecture in alliance with defined powertrain, as well as all product lines. Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer – E/E.
    • They will manage the business development, proposal and project delivery activities, specifically within E/E scopes, including technical specifications, design standards and product testing.

    The Change Management Coordinator is responsible to coordinate all tasks related to the handling of Changes (technical and non-technical changes). This begins with the Change Request and ends with the implementation of the change up to the series production.

    • Together with the departments’ managers and domain specialists, evaluate change requests according to defined criteria, check them for plausibility, completeness and correct description

    OVERVIEW:
    • The Manufacturing Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering the long-term manufacturing resource planning and short-term manufacturing planning for paint, body and GA operations and maintains business SHE targets, volume, cost control, quality and continuous improvement goals and sustains legal and regulatory compliance.

    • The Site Manager will be responsible for the Portugal legal entity and for all non- productive related activities. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the site ensuring it remains within legal and SHE compliance.
