  • OVERVIEW OF ROLE
    • The Logistics Manager will set up the Supply Chain for the designated INEOS manufacturing location including; internal material flow from external logistic providers to the point of use in manufacturing. The job holder will manage all activities to ensure that the supply of materials is delivered to the point of use in manufacturing, including external INEOS locations, ensuring minimum stock levels within the supply chain.  
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Plan, develop, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers.
    • Ensure an efficient material flow from logistic service provider to the point of use in manufacturing. 
    • Understand and manage risks to minimise impact on production schedule.
    • Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.
    • Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement.
    • Utilise any IT system that is in place and ensure that data is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as required.
    • Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs.
    • Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels.
    • Create regular statistical reports and analysis and update others in the organisation.
    • Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organisation to improve operational and financial performance.
    • Deliver solutions to logistics issues while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.
    • Help selecting logistic service providers and monitor service against performance criteria.
    • Help to ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
    • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues.
    • Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with the help of direct reports.
    • Interpret trends and analyse and review data. Provide meaningful logistics data to others in the organisation to aid customer service and cost improvements.
    • Ensure IT systems in place are effective, maintained and accurate.
    • Ensure metrics, reports, and process documentation is available.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all parties connected with the logistics process.
    • Take control of packaging and provide appropriate, cost effective, high quality solutions.
    • Take responsibility for accuracy of labelling to ensure correct parts/finished assemblies reach correct customers at the correct time.
    • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations/customs regulations and legal and health and safety requirements.
    DESIRED EXPERIENCE
    • Experience in Automotive Logistics.
    • Prior experience of working in logistics/supply chain/transportation function within the automotive or manufacturing environment with a comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes and procedures.
    • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
    • Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts the costs, production, manufacture and customer order fulfilment.
    • Expert knowledge of technical regulations related to logistics such as import/export and customs regulations, including security requirements to include certification in dangerous goods handling and aviation security.
    • High degree of knowledge and understanding of a variety of manufacturing and automotive processes and components and of supply chain management.

    • The SAP Support Analyst will support a diverse SAP S4/HANA userbase across a newly formed global venture. With planned implementation through 2020/1 covering FICO, SD, MM, VMS, WMS and other modules the role is focused on ensuring a seamless adoption of the new functionality for our people.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    OVERVIEW:
    • To represent and provide legal counsel, advice and support to Procurement/Supply Chain department working on the drafting, negotiation and completion of proforma and supplier contracts thereby helping maximise the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of these aspects for the business.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • The role involves supporting and advising the business on all legal and commercial activities relating to the supply chain (both manufacturing and non-manufacturing).
    • Oversight of all day-to-day commercial and contract law matters, including NDAs, drafting contracts (proforma and bespoke), advising and supporting the procurement team members and managers in negotiations with suppliers and overseeing the contractual process up to and including (and sometime after) signature.

    • This role will assist in the delivery of digital activity for INEOS Automotive, taking responsibility for day to day optimisation of the Grenadier website by managing partner agencies to develop, implement and deliver data driven content and website functionality to positively impact the engagement and conversion rates of the website.

    • Coordinate and manage INEOS Automotive’ s digital marketing agency to ensure consistent and coherent execution of digital marketing projects.

    OVERVIEW:
    • The Site Manager will be responsible for the Bridgend legal entity and for all non- productive related activities. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the site ensuring it remains within legal and SHE compliance.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    OVERVIEW:
    • The Project Engineer – Electrical Systems and Electronics will be responsible for supporting the design, release and launch of the E/E architecture in alliance with defined powertrain, as well as all product lines. Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer – E/E.
    • They will manage the business development, proposal and project delivery activities, specifically within E/E scopes, including technical specifications, design standards and product testing.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Primary task and objective are to manage and steer the development of the E/E architecture from pre-concept to life cycle management.
    • Support and work with the Design, Engineering Service Partners, Project and Programme management and external suppliers to ensure that all related E/E components are on time, target and delivered.

    • The incumbent will have a strong technical undergraduate degree in automotive engineering, electrical and software engineering.
    • A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience gained at either a Tier 1 automotive supplier or automotive OEM, design and engineering process, from concept to industrialisation.
    • Ability to communicate at all levels. High level technical communications with suppliers, partners etc. Has shown successful cooperation with various suppliers.
    • Experience of high and niche volumes of vehicle production.
    • Intimate automotive knowledge gained during career with experience of several electrical system development projects and product launches.

    OVERVIEW:
    • The Quality Responsible Module (QRM) Powertrain will be responsible for Quality planning according to APQP to ensure the required module and vehicle quality. Is responsible for planning and creating module quality training in collaboration with Project Quality Manager. Conducting internal testing in accordance with PPAP to ensure component conformity. QRM lead cross function team by deviations and internal complaints. Include lesson learned topics and incorporate them in follow-up projects.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Planning and execution of quality planning/APQP for module.
    • Compilation of key breakdown aspects and execution of lessons learned for new projects.
    • Implementation of specific standards and requirements in the prospective series plant.
    • Representation of INEOS Automotive interests in front of the internal and suppliers.

    OVERVIEW:
    • The Cost Engineer will evaluate different technologies, processes and supplier quotes to support engineering as well as procurement selecting the most appropriate design. The quote analysis will also be used by procurement for negotiating the best cost for the production material.
    • After successfully launching the 4x4, the Cost Engineer will be continuously exploring cost down ideas. Process analysis and optimisations at the supplier´s plants are other key activities of the cost engineer.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Support the engineering and design process by comparing different processes, production materials and production locations on the basis of calculations.
    • Provide design recommendations on the basis of cost evaluations.
    • Conduct on-site process analysis and process optimization at the supplier plants to improve our cost position.
    • Implement and monitoring of cost down measures at the suppliers to support multi-year savings contracts.
    • Analysis of supplier quotes to identify negotiation possibilities.
    • Lead Make or Buy studies together with controlling to improve cost position or supply delivery performance and support market value proposition.
    • Support material cost controlling with bottom-up cost analysis of products, processes or hole plants.
    • Supplier development with regards to the suppliers cost position and by that its robust financial performance.
    DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
    • Ideally 3-5 years’ experience gained at either a Tier 1 automotive supplier or automotive OEM.
    • Able to demonstrate direct knowledge of value analysis and value engineering.
    • Experience in leading cross functional change management and cost down projects.

    OVERVIEW:
    • The Category Manager will lead and develop the procurement strategy for selected Categories of the Production Material using his experience to ensure that the business is.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Manage all procurement activities related to the selected categories.
    • Identify and source the components and systems with the best technical and commercial fit to the vehicle and operations requirements.
    • Prepare, facilitate and execute sourcing decisions - all sourcing decisions are cross functional aligned between engineering, manufacturing, quality and procurement.

    • As an Emissions Certification & Compliance Lead you will work in a OEM new product development environment that develops On Road and Off-Road Vehicles from concept to launch.

    • Development of a project structure and process plan (work packages, deadlines, etc.) together with the Industrialisation PMO, as well as agreement of targets within the project organization.
    • Analysis of the target and actual data during the course of the project and identification of needs for action, and proposed solutions to reach the targets.
    • Introduction of production concerns into the project or other functional areas in the project (development support and other areas).
    • Commissioning of functional groups to investigate production alternatives.
    • Representation of the product project with regard to production in the relevant committees and with contracted resources for methods, processing, work-instructions, line and equipment builds, installation, commissioning, and launches.
    • Regular information to the Program teams, the Facilities teams, and the Operating groups (eg. UK and EU) regarding the current status of the project work.
    • Implementing project and product goals by means of target agreements with the technical and facilities teams.
    • Compliance with the conditions of all responsible systems (process safety, quality, quantities, HPV, eHPV, cost, and morale).
    • The manufacturability of the products in series systems and the short and long-term ability to match target to actual.
    • Support product launches, with supplemental problem-solving capabilities and feedback through to Engineering, Support Departments, and Chief Engineer functions.
    • Coordinate and help train an Advance Manufacturing Engineering ad-hoc team prior to launch(es), to achieve group objectives and maximise product, process, equipment, and methods readiness.
    DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
    • Preferred Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution.
    • Grounded with Finance, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Operations & Technology or equivalent five years of experience.
    • Experience with statistical analysis, work measurement and process analysis.
    • Ability to multitask across multiple projects.
    • Demonstrated strong work-ethic, initiative, and strong critical thinking skills.
    • Proficient in necessary tools (hardware and software).
    • Frequent travel between manufacturing, business, and supplier sites, including overnight.

    OVERVIEW:
    • Facilitate the production goals of the Grenadier Program for process safety, quality, timing, costs, efficiency (HPV, eHPV). The Quality Manager is the technical tolerancing resource of INEOS Manufacturing in the Grenadier program. The Quality Manager must ensure the feasibility of the products, prove and guarantee the buildability of the products in the series production, for launch through to the long-term capacity of the system. The Quality Manager collaborates with the Manufacturing Engineering Leads, as they create the capacity of the total production process. Systems, products and processes must be handed over to the plants on schedule.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Target-oriented planning, implementation, introduction of production processes and production initiatives.
    • Ensuring target achievement for production-relevant goals (deadlines, costs, quantities, process reliability, HPV, eHPV, quality and content).
    • Planning, monitoring, controlling and ensuring the execution of work-packages in terms of performance, capacities, costs, deadlines and quality.
    • Development of a program structure and process plan (work packages, deadlines, etc.) together with the Industrialisation PMO, as well as agreement of targets within the project organisation.
    • Analyses of the target and actual data during the course of the project and identification of needs for action, and proposed solutions to reach the targets.
    • Introduction and tracking of production issues into the program or other functional areas in the project (development support and other areas).
    • Commissioning of functional groups to investigate production alternatives.
    • Coordination of issues with the UK and EU plants.
    • Representation of the product program with regard to production in the relevant committees, as a member of committees representing production interests. Regular information to the project manager production and the production areas about the current status of the project work.
    • Adherence to the defined budget within the functions of the Grenadier Program.
    • Implementing program goals by means of target agreements, in consultancy.
    • Professional management of the production contact persons from the departments (including development).
    DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
    • Minimum 4-year BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or equivalent combination of education and experience in the fields of vehicle Tooling, Metrology, Quality Engineering.
    • Minimum of 5 years of applied experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, in an Automotive, Manufacturing or Industrial environment.
    • Minimum of 5 years of applied experience in Inspection, GD&T and Metrology.
    • Familiarity with Functional Build and modern manufacturing production systems.
    • Experience with statistical analysis, work measurement and process analysis.
    • Ability to multitask across multiple projects.
    • Demonstrated strong work-ethic, initiative, and strong critical thinking skills.
    • Proficient in necessary tools (hardware and software).
