Saluting the Grenadier Guards
This Victory in Europe Day (VE Day), we joined the nation in marking its 80th anniversary by supporting The Colonel’s Fund. It’s a charity dedicated to the care of Grenadier Guardsmen and their families, both past and present.
The Regiment welcomed our ambassadors in a day rooted in camaraderie. It was a moment to reflect on the extraordinary courage and sacrifice made in the name of freedom, including the 1,256 Grenadiers who gave their lives in service.
The day featured clay pigeon shooting, meaningful conversations and a closer look at the Grenadier Station Wagon. As ever, it was a privilege to honour the name and legacy of the Grenadiers – and to stand with those who continue to live it.
